New 'Rurouni Kenshin' anime unveils trailer, main cast

"Rurouni Kenshin" is getting a new anime!

The Aniplex Online Fest 2022 unveiled the trailer and announced that the series will premiere in 2023.

According to a report on Anime News Network, Soma Saito has been cast as the voice actor of Kenshin Himura, while Rie Takahashi will voice Kaoru Kamiya.

Based on Nobuhiro Watsuki's "Rurouni Kenshin" manga, the story follows Kenshin Himura, a once deadly assassin who makes it his mission to protect the people of Japan with a vow never to take another life.

It has previously been adapted into an anime series, animate and live-action films, and a stage musical. —JCB, GMA News
