BTS’ Jin unveils track title, cinematic trailer for solo debut ‘The Astronaut’

Jin from BTS will officially be making his solo debut with “The Astronaut.”

The cinematic logo trailer features an astronaut flying through space, which is enough to get fans curious and excited about the song’s story.

In a Weverse announcement, BigHit Music confirmed that the BTS vocalist’s first official solo single and music video will be released on October 28 at 12 p.m. (Philippine time).

“Since it’s a song made with so much love toward the fans, we hope ‘The Astronaut’ can be a gift to all of you,” the label said.

The release dates of posters, concept photos, teasers, and lyric video were also announced.

“Please show a lot of anticipation and support for this promotion, where you can meet various sides of Jin,” BigHit said.

Jin announced at the group’s Busan concert that he will release a solo single.

Reports circulated that the song was gifted to him by Coldplay, but neither BTS nor the rock band confirmed the news.
