Coldplay drops surprise snippet of 'The Astronaut' by BTS's Jin

This is going to be cosmic!

Coldplay unexpectedly released a snippet of "The Astronaut," the song they co-wrote for BTS member Jin.

Fans are already in love, describing the tune as ethereal and otherworldly — very on brand with the space theme of Jin's solo debut!

And based on the video, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is absolutely in love with the song as well. He could be seen grinning ear to ear and singing along.

To recall, Coldplay collaborated with BTS last year for the hit song "My Universe." Martin also gifted his personal guitar to Jin during one of their meetings.

Coldplay shared the preview after Jin released the jaw-dropping teaser for the music video of "The Astronaut."

Previously, Jin released concept photos with the themes "Outlander," "Lunar Eclipse," and "Land on Earth."

The South Korean superstar is currently in Argentina, where he will debut the live performance of "The Astronaut" in Coldplay's stadium concert.
