Disney Plus finally launches in the Philippines

Disney Plus has landed in the Philippines.

"Dito na kami," the streaming platform announced on Twitter. "#DisneyPlusPH available now."

Disney Plus is home to classic films and series, but what’s even more exciting is we can stream originals not shown in theaters or even on TV screens.

These include the upcoming live-action film “Peter and Wendy” and “Disenchanted,” the sequel to “Enchanted.”

And don't forget about "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," adapted from the hit novel series by Rick Riordan!

Monthly subscription starts at P159, whereas the priciest premium subscription is at P2,950, which users can pay annually.

Later at 8 p.m., Filipino personalities and musical acts are coming together on November 17 for a special livestream to welcome Disney Plus.

Kapuso talents Zephanie and Christian Bautista are part of the star-studded lineup, along with Stell of SB19, Zack Tabudlo, Janella Salvador, and Morissette. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
