Ben&Ben sings about love going against all odds in new single 'Dear'

Ben&Ben is back with a new love song called “Dear,” and it's all about a love going against the world’s challenges.

Still with their signature folk sound, the song is meant to “[make] you feel loved, more than anything else,” the group said on Instagram.

“This song was written after finding the deepest kind of love at a time when it was least expected,” they said. “No matter how impossible it may seem, if it’s meant to be, love will find you.”

“And when that time comes, you’ll be ready for it. It’ll be quite an adventure,” they added. "The song's lyrics also tackle fighting for and maintaining a relationship despite all odds.

The band also released a lyric video for “Dear” that was recorded live at Firdaus Studio in Dubai.

Known for “Leaves,” “Pagtingin,” and “Kathang Isip,” among others, Ben&Ben wrapped up their US and Canada tour and are set to have a homecoming concert in Manila on December 18. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
