'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' drops new trailer, announces release date

The newest trailer of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” dropped on Wednesday, together with the announcement of its release date in the theaters.

In the trailer, Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) was heavily featured as one of the most involved supporting cast in the Nintendo and Illumination-produced film.

The video also highlighted snippets of Luigi (Charlie Day), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and Donkey Kong (Seth Roger).

“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” will follow the story of Mario (Chris Patt) and Princess Peach working together to fight against Bowser (Jack Black).
