A Britney Spears jukebox musical is opening on Broadway in June 2023

Oh baby, baby!

It’s something we never knew we needed, but we’re so happy it’s here. A Britney Spears jukebox musical will start previews in May 2023 at the Marquis Theater and will officially open on Broadway in June.

Titled “ Once Upon a One More Time ,” the musical follows classic fairytale princesses who gather for a book club where the Fairy Godmother gives them a copy of the classic feminist book, “The Feminine Mystique” by Betty Friedan.

Featuring 23 of the Britney's songs like “Oops!... I Did It Again,” “Lucky,” “Stronger,” and “Toxic,” the ladies discover that “there is more to life than bird-made dresses and true love’s kiss,” and move to reclaim their stories and happily ever afters.
