Moonstar88's latest single 'Parola' is the guiding light in the dark

Following their hugot song about one’s procrastination for heartbreak called “Next Week,” Moonstar88’s new single “Parola” is all about how we can be each other’s guiding light that never burns out, especially to those who need it.

Written by guitarist Herbert Hernandez, “Parola” was inspired by the breathtaking views of Batanes.

The musician based the lyrics on what captured his eye in the lovely province, such as the bahay na bato, and even the simple flowers surrounding the place.

But what struck Herbert was the parola, or lighthouse, one of the major attractions in Batanes.

The song is produced by Raymund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala. It is the band’s second single for their upcoming album titled “Lourdes 2088.” —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
