'Phineas and Ferb' to return with 40 new episodes
Looks like we're spending a few more summer vacation days with "Phineas and Ferb"!
The iconic animated series is getting revived at Disney, according to report on Variety.
Original creator Dan Povenmire will produce 40 all-new episodes, nearly seven years since the show stopped airing.
Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis made the announcement on Friday, saying, "Dan is renowned for his ability to create universally beloved stories and characters with both heart and humor. We couldn’t be happier to continue our collaboration with him and bring back the iconic ‘Phineas and Ferb’ in a big way."
"Phineas and Ferb" follows Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother Ferb Fletcher who go on crazy adventures during their summer vacation.
