Ayn Bernos teaches English grammar, vocabulary one TikTok video at a time

Want to improve your English for free? Now, you may do so on TikTok.

As seen on Howie Severino's report on "I-Witness," educational content creator Ayn Bernos created the TikTok account @aynperotagalog to offer some quick and helpful English lessons.

The former beauty queen said that on her personal, mostly English account, some followers asked her for grammar lessons or asked her to explain her vocabulary.

On TikTok, Ayn calls herself a human dictionary, translator, context provider, and English teacher. Her TikTok account currently has 2.5 million followers.

In other videos on her TikTok page, she explained the difference between "you're" and "your," what "kahit paano" is in English, how to pronounce the word "soufflé," and more.

"Sobrang mind-blowing siya talaga to me kasi hindi ako akalain na meron lugar in the digital space for a teacher," she said.

"Na-realize ko na andun naman pala 'yung thirst for learning. People want to learn," she added.

The full "I-Witness" episode, "Think B4 U Tiktok," is also up on the GMA Public Affairs YouTube channel.

"I-Witness" was recently named a finalist at the 2023 New York Festivals (NYF).
