Agust D, or SUGA of BTS, releases vulnerable music video for 'Amygdala'

Agust D — or SUGA of BTS — did not hold back in his music video for “Amygdala.”

The South Korean rapper presented his signature raw and vulnerable lyrics about trauma, his childhood, and his family. In the video, the artist referenced the car accident he faced when he worked as a delivery boy before debuting with BTS, which then led to a shoulder injury.

Viewer discretion was advised due to the video’s themes of self-harm.

“Amygdala” is the latest single and music video from the album “D-Day,” following “People Pt.2 (feat. IU)” and “Haegum.”

A dance challenge for “Haegum” has also started, which features Agust D with BTS members J-Hope and Jimin.

The documentary “SUGA: Road to D-DAY” was also released.

Agust D is set to embark on his first solo tour this April, which kicks off in the US. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
