SB19 returns this month with new single ahead of EP release in June

The P-Pop Kings returns this month with a new single, ahead of their much-awaited EP "Pagtagtag!" on June 9 and a world tour that will follow thereafter.

The announcement came with a trailer showing a plant growing stronger into a tree — Pagtagtag, right? — and signals the 2nd chapter of their trilogy, following the first called "Pagsibol."

The trailer, which stars actor Pepe Herrera, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where resources have turned scarce and humans have turned hopeless. They are trying to save the last plant that will save the world.

According to the release, Xi-Anne Avanceña, and SB19’s Pablo and Justin served as creative directors of the cinematic trailer.

"Pagtagtag!" is the 6-track EP that promises to be SB19's "most sonically adventurous" yet. It will explore genres and new music styles that are sure to excite their fans. According to the press statement, the "Pagtagtag!" EP will drop on June 9.

But that's not all. Coinciding with the trailer drop on Sunday is SB19's announcement of their world tour, which will start in June at the Smart Araneta Center in Quezon City.

From there, SB19 will head out to Chicago and Texas before going west to perform in San Francisco and LA. SB19 will then fly east, performing a string of venues from New York all the way to Canada.
