BTS to release book 'Beyond the Story' for 10th anniversary

BTS is telling their own story in book form!

"Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS" was written by journalist Myeongseok Kang and members of the South Korean supergroup. According to a report on The New York Times, it will be published in South Korea by BigHit Music, and in the US by Flatiron Books.

Flatiron Book made the announcement after online speculation. Days prior, news spread that the publishing company would soon release a title about a pop culture phenomenon.

The book's initial announcement was slated for June 13, BTS' 10th anniversary. It is set for release on July 9, their fandom's anniversary.

BTS debuted in 2013 and have since released nine studio albums, on top of their EPs and compilation albums. Before announcing a group hiatus last year, they released an anthology titled "Proof."

Currently, two members of the band are serving in the South Korean military, namely Jin and J-Hope. The rest are focusing on individual projects.

They are set to reconvene in 2025. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
