'Good Omens' Season 2 drops 'ineffable' trailer, series to premiere in July

Aziraphale and Crowley are back!

"Good Omens" Season 2 just dropped its trailer on Wednesday, showing a glimpse at the new adventure of our favorite angel and demon duo.

While Aziraphale and Crowley found themselves watching over the Antichrist in the first season, this time they had to look after the Archangel Gabriel who comes down to Earth.

The two decide to hide Gabriel from the forces of Heaven and Hell, but things eventually spiral out of their control.

"I think I may have just started a war," Aziraphale said in the trailer.

Starring Michael Sheen as Aziraphale, David Tennant as Crowley, and Jon Hamm as Gabriel, "Good Omens" Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime on July 28.

The first season was released in 2019 and had six episodes, which was adapted from the 1990 novel of the same name written by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett.

The second season was announced in 2021. According to Gaiman, it will tell the story of the "Good Omens" sequel that he and Pratchett plotted before they got busy with their own projects.
