Julian Casablancas of The Strokes hopes to visit the Philippines 'next time'
The Strokes just wrapped up their first tour across Asia, and vocalist Julian Casablancas gave a special shoutout to their fans in the Philippines and Malaysia.
The rock band was unable to visit the two countries for their tour.
Julian wrote on Instagram, “heck of a damn tour, Asia... thank you all who came and sang and laughed and cried and screamed and made merry...”
The frontman added, “next time Philippines, Malaysia and many more places hopefully - and stay longer....”
The Strokes had concerts in Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The band headlined the festivals We The Fest in Indonesia, Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, and the Incheon Pentaport Rock Fest in South Korea.
They were set to headline the Good Vibes Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but the event was canceled.
