Olivia Rodrigo's MV for 'bad idea right?' looks straight out of a coming-of-age movie
We can always count on Olivia Rodrigo to bring us back to our angsty teen years.
The singer-songwriter’s music video for hew new single “bad idea right?” has that house party scene that looks straight out of a coming-of-age movie. When Olivia leaves to meet up with her ex, she gets into a bunch of clumsy situations.
The music video also features Olivia’s friends, actresses Madison Hu and Iris Apatow, and singer Tate McRae. It was directed by Petra Collins.
“bad idea right?” is one of the 12 tracks from Olivia’s upcoming sophomore album “GUTS,” which comes out in September. It also includes the previously-released single “vampire.”
Her debut album “SOUR” became a top hit with songs like “drivers license” and “good 4 u.” She went on her first tour in support of the album last year and also performed with Billy Joel in Madison Square Garden.
At the 2022 Grammys, Olivia was nominated for seven awards, and won Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album for “SOUR,” and Best Pop Solo Performance for “drivers license.” She was also named the 2022 Billboard Woman of the Year. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
