Mariah Carey on increased streams of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You:' I'll allow it for my Filipino lambs'

It seemed like Mariah Carey was aware that the Christmas season in the Philippines begins in September.

On X (formerly Twitter), Mariah reposted a report from a fan page stating that her song "All I Want For Christmas Is You" has increased in Spotify streams since September.

"Not yet!!!" the 54-year-old five-time Grammy winner wrote.

"I'll allow it for my Filipino lambs[,] though!" she added. "I don't make the rules!"

In November last year, just a day after Halloween, Mariah transformed from being a witch working out on a stationary bike into a Santa wearing a sexy suit and riding a reindeer to ring in the Christmas season.
