'Percy Jackson and The Olympians' trailer kicks off the quest to find Zeus's lightning bolt

The first "Percy Jackson and The Olympians" trailer is here and it's already packed with adventures!

It first introduces our hero, Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell), who has problems with "bad grades, bullies, all the normal stuff — and then there's some stuff that's maybe not so normal."

The trailer then shows Percy arriving at Camp Half-Blood, which is full of demigods like himself.

Zeus makes an appearance, and tells Percy: "The Master Bolt has been stolen. That is your quest."

"Percy Jackson & the Olympians" is a series of books by Rick Riordan, who worked closely with Disney+ to bring his beloved characters to life. The story tells the story of Percy, a once normal boy who discovers he is the son of Poseidon when he comes of age.

The first book is "The Lightning Thief," which follows Percy's quest to find Zeus's lightning bolt. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
