Another Filipino-American has showcased her exceptional talent on the global stage!
On Thursday, 25-year-old magician Anna de Guzman finished as the runner-up in the 18th season of the talent show competition America’s Got Talent.
During the show’s grand finale, Anna — who already made history as the first female magician to make it to the show’s finals —l eft the audience, host Terry Crews, and judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell stunned with her secret card magic trick.
However, Anna fell short of clinching the title.
Adrian Stoica and his pet dog, Hurricane, landed the award and will bring home the $1 million (P57 million) prize, along with a one-off performance slot in the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.
During her audition in June, Anna said that she has been doing magic tricks for over five years already and hoped to inspire more girls.
“I feel like, my whole life, magical things happen all the time,” she said. —Carby Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
