'Fallout' live action series announces April 2024 premiere

Another live action adaptation is heading your way in 2024!

Prime Video on Monday announced that the upcoming "Fallout" series will be premiering on its platform on April 12.

The project was first announced in 2020 after Amazon Studios licensed the rights to the games and tapped "Westworld" creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy to helm the show.

"Fallout" is a series of post-apocalyptic video games first launched in 1997. The first game was set in 2161 Southern California, where the Vault Dweller must navigate the Wasteland.

In 2018, the franchise released its first online multiplayer game, "Fallout 76."
