Ask any drag queen on this planet who their favorite drag queen is, and the answer can only be one: Sasha Colby.

In the recently concluded Halloqueen Ball held in Baked Studios in Makati, the drag superstar of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 15 graced the Philippine stage for a night of enchanting and spooky drag performances.

It was Sasha’s first time performing in the Philippines, and the crowd went wild for her. It was an understatement to say that she was pleased.

During the show, she greeted her Filipino fans with, “Mabuhay! Handa na ba kayo?” in perfect Filipino accent. She also tried to introduce herself as a Philippine bet and said, “I am contestant No. 17, Sasha Colby, from the Philippines!”

“As a pageant girl, I’ve been waiting to say that my whole life,” Sasha said.

“Y’all, Manila, the Philippines, y’all know good drag, Y’all know good pageants,” she added. “And that means y’all know who Sasha Colby is.”

During her time in the country, the trans queen said she already tried eating Filipino food, and she loved pork adobo and sinigang.

Sasha said she hopes to visit other islands in the Philippines on her next visit, and expressed her admiration for “Drag Race Philippines.”

“I’m part of the Drag Race franchise, but the Philippines is my favorite franchise,” she said.

“I hope to come [back] and judge ‘Drag Race Philippines,’” she added.

Sasha shared the stage with the youngest winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” Krystal Versace, as well as queens of “Drag Race Philippines” Arizona Brandy, Bernie, M1ss Jade So, ØV CÜNT, Hana Beshie, and Tiny DeLuxe.

Philippines’ finest alt drag queens Slaytina, Yudipota, and Aries Night of “Drag Den Philippines” also offered spectacular performances.

In April, Sasha won “RuPaul’s Drag Race” S15, making Filipino-American contender Anetra a runner-up.

Meanwhile, Captivating Katkat became the second Pinoy Drag Superstar, following the footsteps of Season 1 winner Precious Paula Nicole.
