Netflix drops teaser trailer for 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' live action series
Aang and his crew have finally landed!
Netflix on Friday released the teaser trailer for its live action adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
The teaser shows Katara and Sokka finding the iceberg containing Aang, and later, a fully awake Aang wielding his staff. Everyone's favorite sky bison, Appa, is shown flying the trio around.
Much of the Fire Nation is shown in action, including Prince Zuko, Princess Azula, General Iroh, and Fire Lord Ozai.
"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is set to premiere on Netflix on February 22.
Netflix ordered a live-action series in 2018 and began announcing cast members in August 2021.
It stars Gorden Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Zuko.
"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is a popular animated series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. It follows Aang and his friends as they hone their skills and attempt to end the Hundred Year War in order to bring back peace among the four nations. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
