BLACKPINK will stay in your area!

All four members of the K-pop girl group have renewed their contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment, Korean media reported.

"The board has completed a resolution about renewing the contracts with BLACKPINK's four members," YG said and reported by Yonhap.

BLACKPINK’s seven-year contract with YG Entertainment expired in August and they have been negotiating the contract extension since then.

Composed of Jennie, Rose, Jisoo, and Lisa, BLACKPINK debuted under YG Entertainment in 2016 with "Boombayah" and "Whistle." They celebrated their seventh debut anniversary in August.

Early this year, the girl group headlined Coachella and had a two-night concert at the Philippine Arena.

BLACKPINK was named Group of the Year at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

They released their much-awaited comeback album “Born Pink” in 2022. It includes the singles “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down.” Their music video for “Kill This Love” reached 1.9 billion views on YouTube on Tuesday. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
