'Saw XI' announced for 2024

Another "Saw" movie is in the works, Lionsgate has announced.

On Instagram, the franchise's official page said that "Saw XI" is hitting theaters on September 27, 2024.

"The game continues," the post said.

The tenth entry to the franchise, "Saw X," was released just this October. Tobin Bell returned as John Kramer, the main antagonist of the movie series.

The first "Saw" film was released in 2004 and became a pop culture phenomenon.

It follows the victims of John Kramer, who are placed in deadly situations, where they must survive torture.
