BTS, Blackpink are Google's most searched music bands of all time

BTS and Blackpink just became Google's most searched music bands of all time!

On Monday, Google released a video on YouTube highlighting the most searched personalities and moments in the 25 years of Google Search history, and the two K-pop groups came out on top.

BTS, which debuted in 2013, has become a household name in the South Korean industry and has reaped local and international awards left and right.

They won't be releasing any music for now as all the seven members Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook have gone to serve in the South Korean military.

The supergroup is expected to reconvene in 2025.

Meanwhile, Blackpink debuted in 2016 and has been dubbed as "the world's biggest girl group" by Rolling Stone.

It was previously reported that four members of the K-pop girl group have renewed their contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment.
