Santa Claus, tall Christmas trees, and more featured at a Christmas village in Bacolod
A Christmas village in Bacolod City awaits guests with plenty of decorations, including a colorful belen display, different looks of Santa Claus, and tall Christmas trees.
According to Aileen Pedreso’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, the Christmas village named Yoyoland is located on San Agustin Drive in the city.
Yoyoland was a Christmas gift from a business family to the residents. It is open to the public and offers free admission so visitors can roam around freely.
"It's the only time of the year na makakalabas kami at makatipon and we can destress,” visitor Mary Mae Apostol said.
Another visitor, Leonila Manolo, also went to the Christmas village with her niece.
“Sana ma-cherish niya ang moment na ito. Ika-9th birthday niya,” she said.
Yoyoland is open from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. until the second week of January.
