Michelle Dee receives plaque of recognition following Miss Universe stint

The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) honored Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee for her outstanding performance at her recent international pageant!

According to Cata Tibayan’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, the federation gave the Sparkle star a plaque of recognition for representing the country in the pageant held in El Salvador, as well as her service as the goodwill ambassador of the Autism Society of the Philippines.

Michelle was also recently named as the new ambassador of the Department of Tourism.

“The whole journey that I did in El Salvador, of course, that’s a product of hard work, dedication, and just really having the Philippines to my core, really wanting to represent all of us to the best of my ability. So, the fact that people see that, nakakataba ng puso,” the Kapuso actress said.

She also shared that the coming year is going to be “filled with growth.”

“My plan has always just been to ensure that after each year, I’ve grown tremendously from the last year that has passed,” Michelle said.

Michelle returned home to the Philippines on November 25 after competing in the Miss Universe pageant, where she placed in the Top 10. She won four special awards, including Best National Costume.

She recently joined the GMA Telebabad action-series “Black Rider,” led by Kapuso Primetime Action Hero, Ruru Madrid.
