Ben&Ben to perform as special guest in Ed Sheeran's PH concert

OPM band Ben&Ben will be having a special performance at Ed Sheeran's concert in Manila happening in March.

The nine-piece Filipino indie folk-pop band shared the good news on their social media accompanied by the official concert poster featuring their band name.

"Ma, special guest na kami ni Ed Sheeran sa concert niya," the band wrote in the caption.

The band looked back to the time when they covered Sheeran's song "Perfect" on YouTube and described the moment as "surreal." 

"Never in our wildest dreams did we think this could happen," they said. 

The English singer-songwriter will be bringing his + - = ÷ x Tour to the SMDC Festival Grounds in Paranaque City on March 9.

Alongside Ben&Ben, Calum Scott will also have a special performance at the concert. 

In a press release, concert promoter Ovation Productions announced that due to popular demand, new seats have been added, and additional General Admission (Cat 8) tickets have been released. 

Ed previously performed in Manila in 2015 and 2018. He appeared in an episode of "All-Out Sundays" in 2021.

"The first time I came to the Philippines and I've never ever felt that much love from a place ever," Ed said.
