'The Sims' is getting a live action movie!

A live action adaptation of "The Sims" is in the works!

According to Variety, Margot Robbie's production company LuckyChap will produce the film alongside Roy Lee for Vertigo Entertainment.

“Loki” director Kate Herron is set to direct the movie and co-write with Briony Redman, the report added.

"The Sims" is a widely popular life simulation video game franchise, first released in 2000.

Its latest installment is "The Sims 4," released in 2014. "The Sims 5" is currently in the works. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
