'Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle' announced for May 15 in the Philippines

"Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle" is hitting Philippine theaters on May 15!

Medialink Group made the announcement via Ani-One Asia, saying they will offer the "most thrilling and immersive experience for the intense battle between Karasuno and Nekoma!"

"Mark your calendars! See you at the cinema!" they added.

"Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle" will cover the Battle of the Garbage Dump arc of the anime "Haikyuu" — that is, the long-awaited match between Karasuno and Nekoma.

SM Cinema earlier shared an orange poster featuring a crow, a cat, and a trash can. The Karasuno High volleyball team's mascot is the crow, while the Nekoma High volleyball team's mascot is the cat.

The film premiered in Japan on February 16.

"Haikyuu" is based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate that ended in July 2020. The anime adaptation began airing in 2014.
