'Scarlet Heart' is getting a Thai adaptation!

The popular Chinese novel “Scarlet Heart” will be getting a Thai adaption!

On social media, Thai television company GMMTV announced the star-studded cast of "Scarlet Heart Thailand."

According to the post, the upcoming series will star Tu Tontawan, Win Metawin, Nanon Korapat, Tay Tawan, Perth Tanapon, Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Fourth Nattawat, and Force Jiratchapong.

Written by Tong Hua, the novel has been adapted for screen, radio, and theater multiple times, including the much-beloved 2016 K-drama "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," starring IU, Lee Joon Gi and Kang Ha Neul.

The story follows 21st-century woman (IU), who was transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea, in the body of a 16-year-old girl, when a total eclipse of the sun took place.

It also aired in 2017 on GMA Network.
