'Magic Knight Rayearth' to get new anime adaptation
"Magic Knight Rayearth" is going to have a new anime adaptation to celebrate its 30th anniversary!
The exciting news was announced by the franchise's X (formerly Twitter) account with a promotional poster on Tuesday.
A 90-second promotional video was also released, showing images and clips of the characters and eventually transitioning to a teaser of the new animation.
It was the same image featured on the poster, showing Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu with their backs to the audience, wearing partial armor and holding their swords.

"Magic Knight Rayearth" is a popular '90s manga created by CLAMP, the artist group behind "Cardcaptor Sakura" and "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle." Its first anime adaptation also aired on GMA Network.
The story follows three high school girls who get transported into a fantasy world that they must save from enemies seeking to destroy it.
