Barbie Forteza feels empowered after participating in women-led run for a cause
Barbie Forteza just had back-to-back participation at two run-for-a-cause events.
After setting a personal record of 10 km in a fun run for the benefit of Save the Children Philippines, the Kapuso Primetime Princess returned on track on Sunday for another run, this time for Takbo Babae.
Takbo Babae is a women-led community that aims to raise awareness and fight against violence against women and children.
"I feel so empowered seeing all these women and men running to fight for an end to violence against women," Barbie wrote.
"Iba talaga ang push 'pag may pinaglalaban!" she added.
In the comment section, Kapuso stars, including Camille Prats and Kristoffer Martin, applauded Barbie's running engagements.
"Aba sunod sunod ah! Galing galing frenny!" Kristoffer commented.
Barbie is among those stars who have started running more this year. She previously went on a morning run with Alden Richards and Kristoffer.
According to Barbie, running gives a sense of escape and makes you forget your problems.
She also has exciting upcoming projects, including "Kontrabida Academy" with Eugene Domingo, "P77" with Euwenn Mikaell and Gina Pareño, and a project with Director Mark Reyes.
