Jin of BTS unveils concept photos for upcoming album 'Echo'

Jin of BTS continues his rockstar era as he gears up for the release of his sophomore album, "Echo."

BigHit Music on Wednesday unveiled the first batch of concept photos ahead of the album release, and they showed him in pin-adorned denim, wearing earphones.

In one photo, he's lying on the couch in a room with a stereo, a shelf full of vinyls and CDs, and poster-decorated walls. The other two photos show him lounging in a car.

According to a previous announcement, "Echo" will feature seven tracks with a band sound.

“Echo” will be released on May 16 at 12 p.m., Philippine time.

Jin is also going on his first ever solo tour, called "Run Seokjin EP Tour," which will kick off on June 28.

In October, months after completing his mandatory military service, Jin released his debut solo album “Happy” which includes the tracks “I’ll Be There,” “Running Wild,” and “Heart on the Window” with Wendy of Red Velvet.

Earlier this week, he performed his debut solo single "The Astronaut" and BTS and Coldplay's hit song "My Universe" at Coldplay's Seoul concert.
