"Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert" is landing in Manila this August!

According to Film Concerts Philippines on social media, the second installment of the "Star Wars" concert series will be held at The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City on August 30 at 6 p.m. and August 31 at 2 p.m.

The film concert will feature the musical score of "The Empire Strikes Back," also known as "Star Wars: Episode V" (1980), composed by the legendary John Williams.

The score will be performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra, led by conductor Gerard Salonga.

Ticket prices range from P1,999 for Stormtrooper seats up to P6,999 for Emperor seats. Here are the prices.

  • Stormtrooper - P1,999
  • Rebel - P2,999
  • Jedi - P4,499
  • Sith - P5,999
  • Emperor - P6,999

Pre-sale access for members of the Film Concerts PH community begins on May 16, 10 a.m. You can sign up for the community via the Film Concerts PH website.

Meanwhile, the general sale will start on June 10, 12 p.m., via Ticketworld.

The upcoming film concert follows the "Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert" that was held last September at The Theatre at Solaire.

Meanwhile, the "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert" will be held on June 7 and 8 in the same venue.
