'Quezon' unveils official poster, release date

The official poster of the upcoming Manuel L. Quezon biopic is here!

TBA Studios on Friday shared the “Quezon” poster on Instagram, and it shows the title character (played by Jericho Rosales) standing with a closed fist pressed to his chest. 

“I am the Philippines” is written on the top portion. 

The poster also revealed that “Quezon” will be premiering on October 15 exclusively in cinemas.

“Don’t miss the epic conclusion to the trilogy that captured the nation,” TBA Studios said.

The film will follow the life of Manuel L. Quezon, a lawyer and a soldier who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944, highlighting his tumultuous presidential campaign against Emilio Aguinaldo.

More cast members include Karylle as Aurora; Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo; "Game of Thrones" star Iain Glen as Leonard Wood, the United States Army major who served as Governor-General of the Philippines from 1921 to 1927; Benjamin Alves as a younger version of Quezon; and Joross Gamboa as Eduardo Rusca. 

"Quezon” is the third installment of TBA Studios' "Bayaniverse" following "Heneral Luna" and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.”
