Ninong Ry is among those affected by the floods brought about by the Habagat.
On social media, the content creator shared snaps of his kitchen in thigh-deep flood waters. He also shared photos from what appears to be living room, as well as from the garage that shows a lone black car in the floodwaters.
"Heto na naman tayo. Stay safe mga inaanak. Makakaahon din tayo. Laban lang," Ninong Ry said.
He didn't reveal his whereabouts but last year, the internet-famous chef also experienced flooding in his Malabon home during Typhoon Carina — remember her?
Anyway, Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon have been experiencing heavy rains caused by Habagat, following Typhoon Crising. According to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Tuesday said more than 490,000 families have been affected by the bad weather.
Classes in all levels, as well as government offices have been suspended on Wednesday, July 23, while malls and establishments have started waiving parking fees and offering WiFi and access to charging stations.
In its 10am bulletin on Tuesday, PAGASA said it was monitoring three LPAs in and outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
At 2pm, the weather bureau said one of the LPAs has developed into Tropical Depression Dante.
