'Avatar: Seven Havens': First look at the Earthbender destined to become the next Avatar

Avatar Studios has unveiled the first official artwork of "Avatar: Seven Havens," the upcoming sequel series to the classic "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

The artwork shows a young Earthbender, who is destined to become the next Avatar after Korra. She is accompanied by a man and an animal in a desert kingdom.

According to previous reports, the Earthbender is hunted by both human and spirit enemies in an era where her title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior.

Original creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko have returned to create the new series, and described it as "full of fantasy, mystery, and a whole new cast of amazing characters."

"Avatar: Seven Havens" is the second sequel to "Avatar: The Last Airbender" after "Avatar: The Legend of Korra."

Meanwhile, Netflix recently adapted "Avatar: The Last Airbender" into a live-action series.
