'Five Nights at Freddy's 2' official trailer shows return of animatronic terror

The official trailer for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” has been released, offering a chilling look at the return of the iconic animatronic horror.

In the two-minute video, the new chapter continues the terrifying saga, picking up one year after the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

The upcoming film will follow former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail), who have been keeping the truth about the fate of her animatronic friends from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby (Piper Rubio).

However, when Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it ignites a series of horrifying events.

New additions to the cast include Freddy Carter, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Skeet Ulrich.

“Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” is directed by Emma Tammi and written by Scott Cawthon.
