Is Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool joining 'Avengers: Doomsday'?

Ryan Reynolds has set the internet abuzz with his possible involvement in the upcoming film, "Avengers: Doomsday."

On Instagram, the Deadpool actor shared a photo of the Avengers symbol drawn on with red paint, and didn't include a caption.

"If you are saying what I think you’re saying, I’m actually gonna scream," a netizen commented.

Another wrote, "Is he playing or for real?"

"Avengers: Doomsday" has gathered a slew of Marvel characters for a packed cast, with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom.

Other returning stars include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, among many others.

From the newer Marvel Cinematic Universe phases, joining the cast are Florence Pugh as Yelena, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, and the "Fantastic Four" stars: Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Susan Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Thing).
