Taylor Swift unveils cover, tracklist for new album 'The Life of a Showgirl'

Taylor Swift has officially kicked off her new era!

The pop star on Thursday unveiled the official cover and tracklist for her upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” 

On Instagram, Taylor shared photos of her in a sparkly showgirl-inspired outfits, with the album cover having her submerged in water. 

The album will have 12 tracks. The title track, “The Life of a Showgirl,” is a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter.

The rest of the songs are “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Elizabeth Taylor,” “Opolite,” “Father Figure,” “Eldest Daughter,” “Ruin the Friendship,” “Actually Romantic,” “Wi$h Li$t,” “Wood,” “CANCELLED!” and “Honey.”

The Life of a Showgirl” comes out on October 3.

Taylor’s most recent album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was released in 2024. It included the single, “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone.

Her iconic The Eras Tour ran from 2023 to 2024.

In May, Taylor bought back the rights to her entire music catalog after being locked in a feud with record executives since 2019 over ownership of her music.

Prior to this, she has been releasing re-recorded versions, or the “Taylor’s Version,” of her past albums.
