Bighit Music's new boyband Cortis debuts with 'What You Want'
Cortis is officially here!
The band has made their debut with the track “What You Want,” a pop rock song with hip-hop elements, all about wanting to make it big.
Cortis co-directed the “What You Want” music video with the group Idiots. The MV saw them in fun yet surreal situations.
According to Soompi, “What You Want” is the title track of the group’s first EP “Color Outside the Lines,” which comes out on September 8 at 6 p.m. KST or 5 p.m. in the Philippines.
Before their official debut, Cortis flexed their singing, dancing, and production skills for the song “Go!”
Cortis is composed of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho.
Described as a “next-generation creator crew,” the Cortis members are involved not only in producing their own music but also in choreographing their performances and creating videos.
Cortis is Bighit Music’s third boyband after BTS in 2013, and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) in 2019. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
