'DRPH: Slaysian Royale': Filipino queens unite for a girl group challenge

The second episode of “Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale” was all about the girl group challenge, where the 11 remaining queens vying for the crown were split into two teams to perform their original song, “Asian Eyyy!”

As the winner of the mini challenge on the episode, Khianna had the advantage of choosing her teammates. She decided to unite all the Filipino queens, Arizona Brandy, Brigiding, Bernie, and Viñas DeLuxe, against the international contestants Siam PhuSri, Ivory Glaze, Kitty Space, Suki Doll, Sum Ting Wong, and Yuhua.

“Pinili ko na rin ‘yung mga Pinay kasi alam kong magkakaintindihan kami para less worry and mas focused sa challenge,” Khianna said in the show.

At a Bekenemen viewing party hosted by Baus Rufo and Myx Chanel, Bernie praised their group’s teamwork and shared how each member contributed to their success.

“Natuwa ako,” the trans queen said. “Sobrang proud ako sa ginawa namin, infairness, kasi tulong tulong kami doon.”

Arizona Brandy and Viñas DeLuxe emerged as the top queens, while Ivory Glaze and Sum Ting Wong landed in the bottom. Following this season’s format, the two top queens lip-synced for their legacy and decided who would be eliminated.

In the end, Viñas DeLuxe secured the season’s second RuBadge and sent Sum Ting Wong home.
