'Alice in Borderland' Season 3 trailer starts new game led by mysterious Joker card

The game begins — again!

"Alice in Borderland" has unveiled the official trailer for Season 3, nearly three years since Season 2 wrapped up the initial deadly game set in an alternate Tokyo.

Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) is compelled to return to the borderland to save Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya), who he has established a happy life with.

This time, the game revolves around the mysterious Joker, the final card in the deck.

Shown in the trailer are more intense challenges and higher stakes — a rain of fire, train wrecks, explosions, and many more.

"The final card," the trailer said. "Will it bring despair or hope?"

"Alice in Borderland" is set to premiere on September 25. 

The show is based on the manga of the same name by Haro Aso. The first season was released in 2020. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
