PPO to kick off 41st season 'Versatile' this September
The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) will kick off its 41st season, "Versatile," this September!
According to the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), the PPO's 41st season will run from September 12 to April 2026.
The PPO will open the season with "Ouverture" on September 12, 7:30 p.m., at The Metropolitan Theater in Ermita, Manila.
The concert will Antonin Dvo?ák’s "Carnival Overture," Sergei Rachmaninoff’s "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini," and Johannes Brahms’ "Symphony No. 4." The concert will feature Filipino and international artists, including Andrey Gugnin, Mark Bebbington, Szymon Nehring, and Junhee Kim; cellist Tomasz Strahl; sopranos Katarzyna Dondalska, Andion Fernandez, and Katerina Mina; and violinists Diomedes Saraza, Jr. and Bartek Niziol.
The concert will be led by PPO music director and principal conductor, Maestro Grzegorz Nowak.
