Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza dances to ‘Milkshake’ with parents Carla, Godfrey

It’s a talent feast for Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza and her parents Carla and Godfrey!

On Instagram, Sophia’s mom, actress Carla Guevera Laforteza shared a video of themselves dancing to the song “Milkshake” by Kelis. 

In the video, the lovely were strutting some dance moves while Sophia was lip-syncing to the song’s lyrics. The mini dance cover ended with Carla hugging her daughter and giving her a peck on the cheek.

“OMG Shaking aaaaaass,” wrote Carla, who is refreshed from the successful run of "Into the Woods."

Alongside Daniela, Manon, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae, Sophia is a member of Katseye, the product of a talent search by music industry biggies Geffen Records and HYBE.

Katseye debuted in 2023 and visited Manila in 2024 for a fan showcase. They also had various appearances including “It’s Showtime” and collaborated with Filipino content creators like Niana Guerrero.

In June, Katseye released the Latin-flavored R&B pop track “Gabriela”  and its telenovela-inspired music video which featured Hollywood star Jessica Alba.

"Gabriela" is the second single of the group's second EP, "Beautiful Chaos."

Aside from "Gabriela," Katseye is known for their songs “Gnarly,” "Touch" and "Debut."
