Taylor Swift announces 'The Life of a Showgirl' release party in cinemas
Taylor Swift is inviting you to a “dazzling soiree!”
The singer-songwriter is set to hold a release party for her upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on October 3 to 5 in cinemas.
“You’ll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’ along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’” Taylor said on Instagram.
“Looks like it’s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan," she added. “Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional but very much encouraged.”
Tickets are limited and available at releasepartyofashowgirl.com. Cinema screening times may vary.
“The Life of a Showgirl” comes out on October 3. The title track is a collaboration featuring Sabrina Carpenter.
In May, Taylor bought back the rights to her entire music catalog after being locked in a feud with record executives since 2019 over ownership of her music.
Prior to this, she has been releasing re-recorded versions, or the “Taylor’s Version,” of her past albums.
Taylor’s last album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” came out in 2024.
