'Avengers: Doomsday' wraps filming

“Avengers: Doomsday” has officially wrapped filming in the United Kingdom.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the primary shoot finished on Friday, but the production team is expected to continue making adjustments on it.

“True to the Marvel Method, Kevin Feige and the Russos Bros. will be tinkering as they prepare for a healthy dose of additional photography down the road,” the report said.

"Avengers: Doomsday" has gathered a slew of Marvel characters for a packed cast, with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom.

Other returning stars include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, among many others.

From the newer Marvel Cinematic Universe phases, joining the cast are Florence Pugh as Yelena, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, and the "Fantastic Four" stars: Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Susan Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Thing).

It is set to be released in 2026. —Carby Rose Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
