In 'OD' trailer, Hideo Kojima instills fear of the knock

Hideo Kojima has unveiled the teaser trailer for his upcoming horror game with Jordan Peele, "OD."

The chilling trailer shows "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" actress Sophia Lillis using a red card to enter a red door. The card reads: "Light the fires to celebrate their [redacted]."

Inside the room, Lillis lights a set of candles waiting on a table. Disturbingly, some of the candles are shaped like babies.

Marks slowly appear on her face, and then the door opens behind her. A mysterious figure grabs her from behind.

Throughout the trailer, a creepy knocking sound can be heard.

Kojima launched the trailer during the Kojima Productions: Beyond the Strand livestream.

The video game developer said that he's "afraid of big knock sounds," so he wanted that to be "very frightening."

Aside from Lillis, "OD" will star Udo Kier and Hunter Schafer.

Kojima is developing the project for Xbox.

He is famous for developing the popular video game franchise "Metal Gear." —JCB, GMA Integrated News
