'One Piece' live action shares first look at Loguetown
Next stop: the town of the beginning and the end!
Netflix's "One Piece" live action has shared the first look at Loguetown, the place where legendary pirate Gold Roger was born and executed. The Straw Hats make a stop here before heading to the Grand Line in search of Gold Roger's treasure, the One Piece.
Photos show Monkey D. Luffy (Inaki Godoy) gazing up at the platform where Gold Roger's execution took place. Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Sanji (Taz Skylar), and Usopp (Jacob Gibson) are also seen roaming the town.
"One Piece" is set to release its second season in 2026. Earlier, Netflix released a sneak peek video, teasing a bigger story and more intense fight scenes.
The live action adaptation is based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda, which has been running since 1997.
The story follows Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hats in their search for the One Piece, and Luffy's dream to become the King of the Pirates.
